Approved & Live LGAs

Ikeja is the administrative capital of Lagos State and one of the most densely populated LGAs in Nigeria. The CAA committee has been active since September 2024 with full ward coverage.

MAC covers the core of Abuja municipality including Wuse, Garki, and Maitama districts. The committee has the largest membership of any pilot LGA.

Kano Municipal is the historic centre of Kano city. The CAA committee has focused on market infrastructure and road rehabilitation with strong community participation.

Port Harcourt LGA covers the city centre and surrounding industrial zones. Reporting has been particularly strong on environmental and security infrastructure.

Enugu North is the newest live LGA, approved in early 2025. The committee has rapidly scaled to cover all wards with strong diaspora volunteer support.

Ibadan North is currently in the pilot phase with partial ward coverage. The committee is undergoing final training before full live approval.

Kaduna South covers the southern half of Kaduna metropolis. The pilot programme is focused on market infrastructure and road conditions.

Calabar Municipal is in preparation phase. The coordinator has been appointed and the first ward-level coordinators are being recruited.

Jos North is the largest LGA in preparation. The committee formation is 60 percent complete with focus on water and healthcare infrastructure.

Owerri Municipal is in early preparation. The diaspora community in Houston and London has provided seed funding for initial operations.
